Advent Study - Mondays 12/1-12/22, 6:45-8:15p
A Child Is Born: A Beginner’s Guide to Nativity Stories
By Amy-Jill Levine
“Dive into the narratives of Isaac, Ishmael, Moses, and Samuel to reveal how they foreshadow and enrich the timeless Christmas story. Levine shows readers how Scripture's earlier birth stories anticipate the story of Jesus’s birth and how His birth resonates and gives new meaning to those earlier stories.“
We will be following along with Bishop Lanette on Mondays during Lent (12/1- 12/22) using this study. There will be a ZOOM portion with Bishop Lanette and other churches along with our own discussion.
_____
Women's Bible Study - will also be engaging in this study on Wednesdays 11/19, 12/3, 12/10, & 12/17 at 9:30 am.
Christmas Eve Service -
December 24 at 5:00 PM
Join us for Christmas Eve Worship on Tuesday, December 24th at 5:00 PM as we gather to celebrate the birth of our Savior.
Experience the wonder and peace of this holy night as we sing beloved carols, hear the timeless story of Christ’s birth, and share in the beautiful tradition of candlelight during “Silent Night.” There’s something truly magical about the glow of candlelight filling our sanctuary as we sing together in the quiet beauty of Christmas Eve.
All are welcome—bring your family, friends, and neighbors to experience the joy of Christmas. Whether this is your first time joining us or you’ve been celebrating with us for years, we can’t wait to worship with you! See you on Christmas Eve at 5:00 PM at Glendale United Methodist Church!
