Considering Glendale as your church home?
If you've been worshiping with us for a while and are thinking about making it official, our next New Member Class is coming up in May. It's a chance to learn more about who we are and what we believe, and just as importantly, to get to know other folks in the Glendale community alongside you. You're welcome to attend without committing to join. It's a low-pressure way to gather information, build connections, and discern whether Glendale is the right church home for you.
Date and time coming soon! In the meantime, reach out to Pastor Brenda or Sandy in the church office with any questions.
We'd love to have you there!
Note from local elementary school
I wanted to take a moment to update everyone on our pantry needs, as it’s been some time since our last request. To ensure supplies are used efficiently and nothing remains idle throughout the summer, we're aiming to collect about 10 of each item listed below. Your continued generosity and support make a tremendous difference, and we’re grateful for your help! - School Social Worker
Here’s what we currently need:
Salt
Rice
Flour
Tomato Sauce
Paper Towels
Laundry Detergent
Feminine Products
Toilet Paper
Cleaning Supplies
Diapers (Sizes 3 & 4)
Deodorant
Toothpaste
Thank you again for your kindness and for always stepping up to help our community!
Glendale UMC will be volunteering with The Open Door Food Pantry

We have drivers to deliver food to clients who cannot travel to Eagle Ridge Middle School, and volunteers to help distribute food at the school. For more information, please contact Glendale at 952-894-5394.
Watch our very own community member perform in Unlabeled Theatre Company next presentation:
Once Upon A Mattress - May 14-24, Buy tickets here.
Many moons ago in a far-off place, Queen Aggravain decreed no couples could marry until her son, Prince Dauntless, found a bride. Princesses came from far and wide to win the hand of the prince, but none could pass the impossible tests given to them by the Queen. That is, until the “shy” swamp princess, Winnifred the Woebegone, showed up. Would she be able to pass the Sensitivity Test, marry her prince and help Lady Larken and Sir Harry to the altar? Carried on a wave of wonderful songs, by turns hilarious and raucous, romantic and melodic, this rollicking spin on the classic tale The Princess and the Pea provides some side-splitting shenanigans. For after all, a princess is a delicate thing.

Month of May Donation Collection - "The Drawer" - The Drawer's mission is to provide Warmth and Dignity through NEW Socks and underwear.
"At The Drawer, we believe that something as simple as a new pair of socks or underwear can provide more than just comfort, it can restore dignity, spark confidence and remind someone that they’re not forgotten and are worthy of respect."
If interested, we can also volunteer at "The Drawer" - let the church office know if anyone is interested and we can pick a date. More information and a video about volunteering here can be found at: https://www.thedrawer.org/bundle-with-us.
