Celebration of Life as Clergy - Wednesday, June 17, 7 p.m.
Each year, churches in the Minnesota Annual Conference take a Love Offering for missions in conjunction with our Annual Conference Session.
Our Love Offering is not simply charity, but a shared ministry, a way of joining God’s work in the world. Bishop Lanette Plambeck invites congregations to pray about and participate in the Love Offering. She shares, "This offering is more than a tradition. It is a tangible expression of our connectional life and our shared commitment to Christ’s mission. When we give, we participate in ministry that reaches far beyond what any one congregation could do alone."
Your donations to the 2025 Love Offering totaled $89,489.88! How much can we raise this year?
This year’s Love Offering will go to:
Midwest Mission (30%)
Love Boldly Mental Health Ministries Grant for Minnesota Conference Churches (20%)
Minnesota Conference's Emergency Response Fund (20%)
In addition to the Love Offering, congregations are invited to collect supplies and make kits for Midwest Mission and UMCOR.
Sunday, June 28th - Outdoor Worship & Picnic
Bring a lawn chair and worship with us outside. We will follow this up with a picnic. Come and enjoy the great outdoors!
We will also be celebrating our one-year anniversary of voting on becoming a Reconciling Congregation!

Each of these people is already a gift to our congregation, and we are grateful for the ways God is growing this sacred community among us. When you see these new members in worship, at coffee, or around the church, please take a moment to introduce yourself, offer a warm Glendale welcome, and let them know how glad we are to share life and faith together.
At Glendale, membership is not just about adding names to a list. It is about belonging, growing, serving, and living Jesus’s radical love together. Thanks be to God for this joyful season in the life of our church!

Glendale UMC will be volunteering with The Open Door Food Pantry
Next volunteer opportunity is July 8th at Eagle Ridge Middle School, located at 13955 Glendale Road, Savage, MN. The volunteer hours are from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
We have drivers to deliver food to clients who cannot travel to Eagle Ridge Middle School, and volunteers to help distribute food at the school. For more information, please contact Glendale at 952-894-5394.
