New Sermon Series: Life Hacks That Actually Work
Ancient Wisdom for Everyday Life
We're always hunting for the hack, the shortcut, the trick that makes life run smoother. This fall, we're reaching for the oldest wisdom we have. Beginning September 13th, this four-week series borrows the well-loved framework of the Four Agreements and lets the letter of James shape it into a Christ-centered way of living marked by grace, humility, and honest words.
Come as you are and bring a friend. There's a place for you here.
Glendale UMC will be volunteering with The Open Door Food Pantry
Next volunteer opportunity is September 9th at Eagle Ridge Middle School, located at 13955 Glendale Road, Savage, MN. The volunteer hours are from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
We have drivers to deliver food to clients who cannot travel to Eagle Ridge Middle School, and volunteers to help distribute food at the school. For more information, please contact Glendale at 952-894-5394.
Kids Klub is back!
This fall, our kids have a place to learn, create, and grow together. Kids Klub begins September 13 and meets twice a month during Sunday morning worship.
After the children’s message, kids head to Kids Klub while the rest of us continue in worship. Kids Klub is designed with preschool through 5th grade in mind, and we’re happy to welcome any child who would enjoy being part of it.
Each gathering is hands-on and creative, with stories, activities, and plenty of making things, all connected to the same themes we’re exploring in worship. That means kids and grownups have something to talk about together long after Sunday morning.
Bring your kids. Bring the neighbor kids. Come laugh, create, wonder, and discover again and again that you are known, loved, and welcome exactly as you are.
