Over four weeks this fall, we’ll step off that treadmill together and listen again to what Jesus and Scripture teach about money, contentment, and generosity. We may discover that a good life is not built by always reaching for more, but by learning what it means to have enough.

Join Pastor Brenda for Enough: Discovering Joy Through Simplicity and Generosity, a four-week small group based on Adam Hamilton’s book. Come enjoy meaningful conversation, genuine connection, and practical ideas for living with greater contentment and joy.

Welcome to the Glendale UMC Sunday Funday Youth Group Online Gertens Fundraiser! This group will receive 30% of all plant sales and 15% of all plant card sales. Proceeds will go toward Glendale UMC Youth Sunday Fun Day activities and be used to take the youth to concerts, plays and enjoy fun activities.
Orders must be completed by 10 PM on Thursday, October 29.
NO LATE ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
Products will be delivered to the group on December 2.
All orders will be ready for pick up on December 2 at 5PM at 13550 Glendale Rd, Savage, MN 55378

Fall Clean up is this Sat 10/24 from 8-12. There will be donuts!
Indoor projects:
Deep Clean Kitchen
Disinfect Nursery Toys
Chair Alignment in the Sanctuary
Replace Light Bulbs in Fellowship Hall
Clean Fans in Fellowship Hall
Examine light fixtures for dead bug and remove dead bugs
Outdoor tasks:
Cut up fallen trees and brush
Load up cut wood and brush from Ash tree into trailer. Haul trailer to recycling center for disposal
Old Patio Door in garbage shed needs to be taken to Prior Lake Disposal (Truck needed)
Replace weather stripping on NE Sanctuary Exit door.
Trim dead branches off and tree.
Trim branches and clean out undergrowth from evergreen in SE property corner.
Burn dead brush in fire pit. (Requires supervision)
Here is where we need some volunteers with trucks. We are renting a trailer and a possibly a splitter that will need a hitch to haul to church and return to rental center. If you can help with this, please let the office know. Looking forward to seeing as many of you as can help.
Trunk or Treat, October 31st, 5:00-6:30 pm
Bring the kids and join the fun! Glendale will be hosting their annual Trunk or Treat in the church parking lot on Halloween!
SAVE THE DATE: November Ladies’ Brunch on Saturday, November 21st at 10a
Brunch Potluck: Bring a favorite breakfast or lunch dish to share, if able.
Friends Giving: Bring a non-perishable food item for The Open Door Pantry. *Bring two items and get a bonus door prize ticket!
