We are celebrating Glendale UMC's 40th Anniversary!
You are invited to help us celebrate the 40th anniversary of Glendale United Methodist Church with your time, talents and treasures!
We hope you will spend some time each Sunday in September with us.
Sunday, September 28, Week 4 and conclusion of our month-long celebration
This week Conference Superintendent Woojae will lead worship, and Pastor Lynda Ellis will give benediction.
Desserts will be served for fellowship time.
Activities will include paper chain of blessings.
Volunteers will be needed each week to help in the kitchen during fellowship and to supervise activities. Please inform the office if you are interested in volunteering. For additional details, follow this link.
*Throughout the month of September, we are accepting donations from your treasures in ANY amount but believe $40, $400 or $4000 would be a fantastic way to bless Glendale’s ongoing ministries. Checks can be made out to Glendale United Methodist Church indicating 40th Anniversary in memo line.

Join us every Sunday from 9:15-9:30 AM downstairs in classroom 1 (*change of location 9/28/25) for prayer before worship. Together, we'll pray for our world, our nation, our community, and each other. In times like these, prayer matters—and praying together matters even more.

Sunday Funday Youth Gerten's Christmas Fund Raiser - 9/22/25-10/30/25
The Sunday Funday Youth Group is excited to announce their Christmas Fundraiser in partnership with Gerten's!
The group will earn 30% of all plant sales and 15% of all plant card sales.

Glendale UMC will be volunteering with The Open Door Food Pantry
Next volunteer opportunity is October 8th at Eagle Ridge Middle School, located at 13955 Glendale Road, Savage, MN. The volunteer hours are from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
We have drivers to deliver food to clients who cannot travel to Eagle Ridge Middle School, and volunteers to help distribute food at the school. For more information, please contact Glendale at 952-894-5394.
Wine & Cheese Night - Everyone Welcome!
MaLissa Young and Victoria Fett are thrilled to invite you to a fun wine and cheese gathering! Come join us for an evening of great conversation, delicious cheese, and wonderful fellowship.
When: Saturday October 11 6:30pm
Where: The Youngs’ home
This is a relaxed, come-as-you-are event where we can connect and enjoy each other's company. While we'll have wine available,
we'll also have plenty of other beverages - sparkling water, juice, coffee, and more! The focus is really on the "cheese and friends" part of the evening.
Whether you're a wine enthusiast, prefer other drinks, or are staying alcohol-free, you're absolutely welcome and will have a fantastic time!
We're excited to create a warm, inclusive space where everyone can feel comfortable and enjoy great food and even better company. Can't wait to see you there!

October 18th, 5:00-8:00 pm - Join us at the Savage Halloween Bash at Savage Sports Center. Look for opportunities to help at Glendale's booth.
October 31st, 5:00-7:00 pm - Participate in Trunk or Treat in Glendale's parking lot. Decorate your car and hand out treats, or team up with another family to welcome our neighbors.
November 27th, 12:00-2:00 pm - Attend the Community Thanksgiving Potluck at Glendale UMC
